Honeysuckle Grove

If you pad down pavement with some

places in particular and chipped

you can walk against the wire diamonds

that are peeled and worn

there you can leap up

the steep but steeping

steeps

and follow paths gray to messes of tangled

and dangling trees with bronze coated leaves

that whistle and chime to the wind

sway and sway to the melodies

and drink in their honeysuckle

air

some buzzing with life within

amongst their hollowed homes

where the honeysuckle swirls and

twirls

dancing white shoes

tapping to the their music

and leaping there invisible steps

up and down

some circling ‘round

to their destiny of vine and there to

somewhere

perhaps to children’s homes to show

them the honeysuckle groves

so they may come and dance

at nightfall

with their little white shoes

upon tiny feet

Sneak Peek at Spring 2013 samples

These are shown in the muslin fabric for now.  I will be fabric shopping in NYC at the end of May, so stay tuned ………. much more to come.  (This is my Spring 2013 line which will be shown on the runway during Austin Fashion Week in August– My mini resort collection 2012 will also be featured)

Unexamined

It is a darkness

An abyss

Bottomless

With a fullness of dank

That slowly

Must be chipped away by time

And humanity’s urge to deepen

To spread it

Like a spider’s web

Chisel and chip

Piece by piece

Drawing undefiable need

To be uncovered

To be revealed

The inescapable wire that has

Fastened

Coiled onto our subconscious

Driving us

To examine the unexamined

To uncover the covered

Bluebonnets

Concealed and clandestine

colored ivory against

a blackened umber

only to break this encasement

and unfurl

Green youth

wisps lightly up

expressing  blues

a repetitive color

matching

So the sky is ever bigger

in Texas
